- Check and assess all wiper blades for performance
- Check window screen for damage and clean
- Check and test the side, indicator, brake, number plate and reverse lights
- Check battery security and top up battery fluid (non-sealed units only)
- Check tyre condition and tread depth (including spare where accessible)
- Reset service light/service interval where applicable (subject to data and tooling availability)
- Check condition and tension of auxiliary drive belts (excluding cambelt)
- Visual search for date of cambelt replacement (if applicable)
- Check electrical charging system
- Visual check high tension leads and component condition
- Visual check fuel filter (if fitted and external from fuel tank)
- Check and adjust headlights, if required
- Inspection of exhaust system including mountings for security, leaks and noise
- Visual inspection steering rack

- Check steering components for wear and corrosions
- Visual check suspension condition including mounting, leaks, wear and corrosion
